Limeburners Single Malt Whisky Heavy Peat 61% (AWARD M221) - 700ml

This batch of our Heavy Peat expression, M221, was first released in 2018 after years of perfecting the art of smoking our whisky. Crafting smoked whiskies is a highly controlled process that involves extensive research and experimentation, including the use of peat hand-collected from the Valley of the Giants -an area renowned for its rare and majestic 400-year-old red tingle trees, native only to this region. This meticulous procedure, honed over 14 years, produces limited, labour-intensive batches of exceptional peated whisky, and M221 is one of them.

M221 has been awarded the prestigious titles of Best International Craft Whisky and Best International Smoked Whisky by the globally acclaimed American Distilling Institute. It also received a unanimous gold medal, with judges scoring it 95 out of 100, making M221 one of Limeburners’ most internationally awarded expressions.
