About Sour Mash

Cameron was inspired by the great Tennessee whiskeys and Kentucky bourbons, but he set out to create a uniquely Australian spirit.

Tiger Snake Whiskey forms the backbone of Australian Sour Mash (bourbon style), being the first of its kind crafted and sold in the country. It uses a classic Western Australian grain bill of corn, rye, malted barley, and the hybrid triticale, all matured in ex-bourbon casks.

Tiger Snake has two distinct ranges, each created using a different method. The Sipping Range, crafted with the grain-out method, delivers a smooth and refined whisky, while the Mixing Range, produced using the grain-in method, offers a bold, bourbon-style characterβ€”ideal for cocktails and mixers. Every whiskey around the world tells the story of its environment and distilling traditionsβ€”Tiger Snake Sour Mash Whiskey is no exception.
